Orange-y Goodness
Easy Pancakes for you to whip up on Easter's Morning!
Ingredients
- 1cup all purpose flour
- 2tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2teaspoon Salt
- 1/2cup orange juicefresh squeezed
- 1/4cup Milk
- 1 eggbeaten
- 2tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2teaspoons vanilla extractdivided
- 2tablespoons orange zest
- 1/2cup maple syrup
Instructions
- Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Whisk together the orange juice, milk, egg, oil, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, and orange zest in a small bowl or measuring cup.
- Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until combined. Batter may be lumpy.
- Heat a griddle for the pancakes. Spray the cooking surface with nonstick cooking spray.
- Pour 1/4 cupfuls of batter for each pancake. Let each pancake cook, then flip and cook until golden. Repeat with remaining batter.
- Serve with Maple syrup
